Marianne Cwalina

June 28, 1951 - June 17, 2017

Burial Date June 17, 2017

Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Marianne has been my dear friend since she transfered down to the Allentown area with PPL. We particularly enjoyed our visits to the Civic Theatre and I'll contribute there to the arts in celebration of our friendship! We supported one another as sisters and she totally indulged and "got" my ex-pat ways. Typically our last text was to weigh up which of 2 British movies would be our next must see! For her family, have comfort in knowing she was much loved and admired in her adopted city!

The news of Marianne's passing has shocked and sadden me. We enjoyed spending time together, shopping, dinner and great conversations. We both found someone we could share our deepest thoughts and concerns with. I will miss her a lot. In addition she volunteered at the Lehigh Valley Active Life with me. Monday mornings are going to be very difficult to face without her smiling face and coffee when she came around the corner to say "Here I am". She really did find a "home" here with new friends and Mah Jong. To all her family and loved ones, please accept my sincere condolences. I know you and many of her friends here will miss her greatly, especially me.

So very sorry for your loss, and my prayers are with you. Marianne was my dear Yoga student for many years at Jordan Lutheran Church yoga classes that are through the Lehigh Valley Active Life Center, and she volunteered to help me with one of my computer programs here in the Development Department, also at Lehigh Valley Active Life. She was very close friends with some of my co-workers and some of my other Yoga students. She was such a great help to us and a friend. She is already missed a great deal! May her family be comforted during this time of loss and sadness!

I am shocked and deeply saddened upon hearing of Marianne's passing. We had been friends for a long time. I met her at The Conditioning Club years ago. I was a massage therapist there and use to give her massages. We became close friends and in the last year I taught her how to play Maj Jong. We played with a group of friends at our homes and also at the center. I will really miss her. My deepest sympathy to her family. If I can be of any help please call me at 610 657-7440.

I wish Marianne's family to accept my heartfelt condolences. Marianne was super smart, pretty, and very talented. I had so much fun with her going out to movies and dinner, talking about movies and books, and just plain talking in person or on the phone. She was very special. I will miss my good friend very much.
