Obituaries

Ronald E. Kocak, age 81, of Friendsville, died Tuesday, May 9th, at home.
Born in Endicott, New York, on May 4, 1936, and son of the late Margaret and John Kocak, Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he was a longtime technician for Lockheed Martin. Of Roman Catholic faith, he was a member of St. Augustine’s Church at St. Brigid Parish in Brackney.
He is survived by his children, Elena Groover and husband Michael of Montrose, Lisa Kocak and fiance Patrick of TN., and Kim Kocak of NY.; a sister, Joan Hambalek of GA.; and four grandchildren, Grace, Mia, Layla and Brielle.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for July 15th at 10:30AM at St. Augustine’s Church, 295 Church Road in Brackney, to be celebrated by Rev. Casimir Stanis. Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 10:00AM until Mass.
