Shawn Banks, age 29, of Taylor, died Saturday at the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.
Born in Scranton on March 7, 1975 he was the son Mary Hunter Barbuti, Taylor and the late Robert Barbuti. He was educated in Riverside High School.
He was formerly employed by the Gress Warehouse, Scranton.
He is also survived by his two daughters, Kiersten Banks of Scranton and Paige Banks of Taylor.Two brothers,
Charles Banks of Phillipsburg, Pa.
and Christopher Banks of Taylor. Four Sisters, Kim Messenger and
Lori Banks, both of Scranton,
Nicole Banks of Lake Ariel, and
Jamie Barbuti of Taylor. Several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Patrick and John Banks.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday evening at 8:00 P.M. in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to until service time.Cremation will follow in the Maple Hill at Salem Crematory in Archbald.
