Obituaries

Richard Eugene Molnar, Jr., age 55, of West Scranton, passed away Friday evening.
Born on April 12, 1962, son of Richard Molnar, Sr. of Scranton and the late Marilyn Burnett Molnar, he formerly worked for Vermont Manufacturing. An avid fisherman and model race car collector, Richard found his greatest joy in spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
He is also survived by four children, Richard, III, and Matthew Molnar, both of Scranton, Patrick Molnar of Gouldsboro and Christina Molnar of Olyphant; his grandmother, Mary Molnar of Dunmore; his sister, Terry Wachholz of Scranton; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; a former A blessing service by Rev. Richard Fox, Pastor of St. Patrick’s Church Parish, is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30PM at the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 4:00PM until services.
