John Thomas Yackimowski, age 53, of Wilkes Barre, died Thursday at home.
Born on April 25, 1963, in Wilkes Barre, he was the son of John and Margaret Yackimowski. He was a skilled roofer by trade.
He is survived by his daughter, Autumn Yackimowski; and siblings, Donald Yackimowski, Rana Clearly, Cody Wittick and Cale Wittick.
Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Homes, Inc., Scranton and Old Forge. Following his family’s wishes, John’s body will be donated to further education in human sciences.
