Obituaries

Regina (Jean) Lambert, age 82, of Duryea, passed away Tuesday at Golden Living Center – East Mountain in Wilkes Barre, after an illness. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Curtis Lambert, Sr. on February 16, 2012.
A lifelong resident of Duryea, she was born on November 21, 1934. Daughter of the late Edward and Lottie Tuminski Resavy, Jean was a graduate of the former Duryea High School, Class of 1952. She was a longtime pillar of the brick United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will always be missed by all.
She is survived by her three children, Curtis Lambert, Jr., and wife Deborah and Kyle Lambert, all of Duryea, and Lynn Faux and husband William of Pittston; her sister, Lillian Witkowski of Duryea; two grandchildren, Kyle Lambert, II, and wife Erin and Scott Lambert; a great granddaughter, Regina Lambert, and many nieces and nephews.
Siblings, Edward and Leonard Resavy and Romayne Moniak, also preceded her in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, with private burial at Marcy Cemetery in Duryea.
