Obituaries

Norman Hicks, Sr., age 74, of South Sterling, passed away Tuesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in Scranton on March 31, 1942, son of the late Howard and Florence Hicks, Norman retired as a truck driver.
He is survived by three children, John Hicks and Florence Hicks and her fiance John Keen, all of Scott Twp., and Cindy Hicks of Taylor; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A son, Norman Hicks, Jr., and siblings, Howard Hicks and Marion Major, also preceded him in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
