Obituaries

Raymond Shimley, 91 of Taylor and formerly of Pittston, passed away Tuesday evening.
Born on August 26, 1925 and son of the late John and Mary Kovach Shimley, Ray was a graduate of Pittston Schools. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, he worked as a a truck driver prior to his retirement.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
