Obituaries

Michele Marie Ciccone, age 54, of Taylor, passed away Thursday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, after an illness.
Born in Scranton on February 15, 1962, daughter of Barbara Conforti Ciccone Nolan of Scranton and the late Angelo Ciccone, Michele was educated at the former Scranton Technical High School.
Despite her health limitations, Michele kept great humor. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and adored her “one-eyed dog”, Boomer. Taken too soon from her family, she’ll be forever missed!
She is survived by her four children, Maria and Jeremy Ciccone and Anthony Rempe, all of Old Forge, and William Ciccone of Taylor; her five siblings, twin brother Michael Ciccone of Florida, John Ciccone of Moscow, James Smith of Scranton, Angela Eberhardt of Connecticut and Elisa Seymour of Scranton; two grandchildren, Evria and Ariana; and many nieces and nephews.
Her brother, Ronald Ciccone and her step-father, Edward Nolan, also preceded her in death.
Blessing services are scheduled for Monday at 7:00PM in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 4:00 until services. Committal will follow on Thursday at noon at Old Forge Cemetery’s Chapel.
