Nancy Ann Cunning Penman died at Golden Living Center in Scranton on Tuesday, January 10th, at the age of 80 years.
Nancy had a strong love of God, family, and country. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and preparing homemade foods for her family. She also loved to travel by train, and crossed North America by rail many times.
Nancy is survived by five sons, Robert E. Penman Jr. and wife Sandra, Larry A. Penman and wife Celine, Michael J. Penman and wife Cynthia, James S. Penman, and Jonathan R. Penman and wife Ruth; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Nancy was predeceased by her brother Edward M. Mcilvaine, and sister Margaret G. Cunning
A gathering of remembrance will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, 3779 Pitt St., Schellsburg, Pa., on Saturday at noon. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday between 11-12:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Schellsburg and Chestnut Ridge Union Cemetery in Schellsburg, PA
