Obituaries

Edward Post, age 76, of Moscow, passed away Thursday morning at Allied Skilled Nursing Center in Scranton. His beloved wife, Roseann Villareale Post, survives.
Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, on January 16, 1940, he was the son of the late Edward, Sr., and Helen Scism Post. Prior to his retirement, he was a longtime lineman for the Coca Cola Bottling Company.
A car enthusiast, he was a member of The Coasters Car Club. He also enjoyed collecting all types of belt buckles. Passing away peacefully after an illness, Edward will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is also survived by his loving children, Lisa Rasmus and husband John of Carlstadt, New Jersey, Dina Joseph and husband Francis, Jr., of East Rutherford, New Jersey, Donna Rosenburg and husband Jerry of Beach Lake and David Post of Hazleton; eight adoring grandchildren, Thomas and Michael Rasmus, Alex and Samantha Joseph and Christopher Post, Gabriel and Luke Rosenberg and Nicolle Post; siblings, John Post of Ballston Spa, New York, Joyce Goldman and husband Joel of Vero Beach, Florida, Joseph Post and wife Michele of Greenfield, New York and Richard Post of Salem, New York; and many nieces and nephews.
A brother, Robert Post, also preceded him in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., Old Forge and Scranton.
