Obituaries

Nicole Bolesta, age 31, of Old Forge, passed away unexpectedly Monday at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.
A private funeral service was conducted at First United Methodist Church in Old Forge by Rev. Susan Zimmerman, Pastor, with burial at Marcy Cemetery, Duryea. To honor Nicole’s love for animals, especially her two pups, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, Pa., 18612.
Although no longer with us, Nicole’s spirit will continue to live on. In a final act of selfless kindness, Nicole was an organ donor, helping to save the lives of those in need.
