Obituaries

James David Reynolds, Jr., age 37, of Darby and formerly of Scranton, died Friday at home.
Born in Scranton on May 4, 1979, son of mother, Theresa Walsh Reynolds of Lake Ariel, and father, James D. Reynolds, Sr., and wife Judy of Uniondale, James was a graduate of Scranton High School. He had worked as a general manager in the restaurant business before passing away unexpectedly.
James’ world was his family, and his greatest joy came while playing with his kids. Taken from them too soon, he’ll be forever missed by his family and friends.
He is also survived by his children, Nevin, Zahira, Milan and Timothy; his companion, Adelline Bowman of Darby; his sister, Tammie Hiller of Lord’s Valley; his brother, David Reynolds of Scranton; his paternal grandmother, Della Reynolds of Tunkhannock; nieces and nephews, Avery, Gavin, Evan and Landon Hiller, Victoria, Molly and Keegan Reynolds; and aunts and uncles.
A brother, Sean Reynolds; a paternal grandfather, Floyd Reynolds; and maternal grandparents, Romaine and James Walsh, Sr., also preceded him in death.
Blessing services are scheduled for Friday at 1:00PM in the Cathedral Cemetery Chapel, Oram Street in West Scranton, with interment to follow.
