Obituaries

Carmen Rubino, age 67, of Taylor, passed away Sunday in the V.N.A. Hospice Inpatient Unit of Geisinger C.M.C., Scranton. His wife, the former Hideko Ikeda, survives.
Born on July 10, 1948, son of the August and Anna Diamanti Rubino, Carmen proudly served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, before being honorably discharged in 1970. For over 30 years, he worked as a clerk for the Central Newark Post Office, Newark, N.J..
He is also survived by his son, Jamie Rubino, of Taylor; three brothers; two sisters; and nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
