She was a Youth Fellowship Leader, a trustee for the Health Hospital Planning Council, Area Agency of Aging Advocacy Council and Meals on Wheels. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, she passed away peacefully while entering the arms of the Lord.

An infant son, Ronald Strunk; grandchildren, David and Dr. Susan Silfee; siblings, William, Wesley and Lewis Smith, and Dorothy George; and a step father, John Smith, also preceded her in death.
Her family wishes to thank the entire staff of Mountain View Care Center for their tremendous care and compassion throughout Beatrice’s stay.
