Pastor Arthur H. Tucker, age 84, of Moosic, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Day, passing away at Geisinger C.M.C., after illness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Stalbird Tucker. The couple would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 30th.

He also served as interim Pastor at both the Country Alliance Church and the Community Missionary Alliance Church in Broadheadsville. Until his death, he was a devoted member of the Moosic Alliance Community Church in Moosic. He was a devoted husband, adoring father, and loving brother, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. Touching countless lives along his ministerial journey, he will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by three sons, Stephen Tucker and wife Tammy of Glendale, Richard Tucker and wife Lisa of Moosic and Arthur Tucker, Jr. and wife Jamie of Pittston; a sister, Sharon Woodmancy and husband Joseph of Glendale; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his sons, David and Duane Tucker.
His family would like to thank the entire staffs of both Compassionate Care and V.N.A. Hospices for the amazing care provided to both Arthur and his family during this difficult time.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 10:00AM at the Moosic Alliance Community Church, 608 Rocky Glen Road, Moosic, to be conducted by Rev. Donald Weidman, Pastor. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst Twp.
