Obituaries

Jasper LaTour Brigham, age 62, of Edwardsville, passed away Friday morning. Born in Callicoon, New York, on August 29, 1953, and son of the late Jasper LaTour and Elizabeth Drumm Brigham, Jasper was a graduate of West Side Area Vocational Technical School. A talented woodworker, he was a fine cabinet maker prior to his illness. He is survived by his two sons, Jason Brigham and wife Lauren of West Wyoming and John Brigham of Taylor; three sisters, Donna, Trudy and Debbie; three loving grandchildren, Miya, Callie and Johnny; his former wife, Kathy; his guard cat, Ralph; and his beloved Peugoet bicycle. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge (www.bcfanimalrefuge.org). Private arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
