Obituaries

Lucia Klinger, age 63 and a longtime resident of Scranton, passed away Tuesday, December 29th.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey, on August 5, 1952, daughter of Fredrick and Lucia Cetrano Klinger, Lucia was an active member within the Salvation Army Church of Scranton’s parish. She was a volunteer for women’s ministries and touched many lives along the way. A loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two children, Jessica Amerman and husband Raymond, and Daniel Peruso; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and 14 siblings, Alex, John, David, Alfred, Joseph, Edward, Vincent, Henry, Anthony, Fredrick, Lawrence, Erma and Jenny Klinger and Margaret Clark; and many nieces and nephews.
Siblings, Fritz, Paul and Philip Klinger and Caroline Mays, also preceded her in death.
Local memorial services will be Saturday, January 9th, at 2:00PM in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 403 Broadway, Bangor.
Memorial services will be January 22nd at 7:00PM in the Salvation Army Church, 500 S. Washington Ave., Scranton.
