Obituaries

Paul John Walters, age 56, a lifelong resident of West Scranton, passed away Thursday at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born on June 19, 1959, son of Ella Catrone Schulp of West Scranton and the late Warren F. Walters, Paul was a graduate of West Scranton High School. He earned a Bachelors of Education Degree from the University of Scranton. An avid cook and baker, he formerly served as baker for Price Chopper Market in Scranton. A loving son, brother, nephew and uncle, he will certainly be missed by his loved ones.
He is also survived by brothers, Paul Royce and wife Shannon and Michael Walters, all of Scranton, and James Walters of Taylor; his uncle, Michael Catrone of Scranton; his aunt, Annette Vanucci of Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, including nephews, Dylan Gino Royce and Gavin Billy Royce, and the “apple of his eye”, niece, Sydney Noel Royce.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
