Obituaries

Rick Ferrett, formerly of Old Forge, died Tuesday morning at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. Rick was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 2, 1954, and was preceded in death by his parents Roman J. and Leona Januszewski Ferrett, and his brother Michael. He was a graduate of Irvington High School.
He is survived by his brother, Raymond Ferrett (and wife Conny); his sisters, Elaine Sands (and husband Sandy) and Donna Ferrett; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday at noon in Saint Ann’s Basilica, St. Ann’s Street in West Scranton. Interment, Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery, Scranton.
