Deborah Richards, 50, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died at home Sunday, after an illness. Her loving husband, Charles Richards, survives.
Born on Independence Day, 1965, daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Edwards Evans, Deborah was educated at West Scranton High School, and prior to becoming ill, worked for Preferred Meals in Moosic. Adoring her nieces and nephews, she never missed an opportunity to babysit, and she enjoyed arts and crafts. Passing away surrounded by family, she will be missed.
She is also survived by her brothers, John Evans and wife Holly and Robert Evans and fiance Lisa, all of Scranton; and many nieces and nephews.
A brother, Charles Evans, also preceded her in death.
Services have been scheduled for Deborah Richards, age 50, a lifelong resident of Scranton, who died October 18th at home. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, November 21st, from 12-2:00PM at the United Neighborhood Center, 425 alder Street in Scranton. Interment will follow at 2:45PM at Langcliffe Cemetery, Avoca. Arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
