Steve King, age 51, of West Scranton, passed away Tuesday evening. Survived by his loving wife, the former Pamela Strackbein, the couple were married for ten years.
Born on October 19, 1963, Stephen was the son of Barbara Farris King of Scranton and the late Clifford King. He will be long remembered for his selfless nature and enormous heart. Taken from his relatives and friends too soon, he will be forever missed.
He is also survived by his five children, Matthew, Thomas, Jimmie, Sarah and Julia; siblings, Clifford and Patricia; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be on Thursday, July 23rd, at 11:00AM in the Open Door Baptist Church, 826 South Keyser Avenue in Scranton. Arrangement are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton. Please visit the funeral’s website to leave an online condolence.
