Obituaries

Nora Culp, age 76, of Pittston, died at home Thursday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert F. Culp, Sr., on January 20, 1975.
Born in Moosic and daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Belles Decker, Nora had an enormous heart and would help a friend in need whenever possible. Like a ship’s cruise director, she always brought people together while having a great time. She will long be remembered for her baking and cooking skills. Owning and operating her own cleaning business, she was proud of being an entrepreneur. Adored by those who knew her, she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her beloved companion of 38 years, Joseph Santos; her two children, Helen Culp of Pittston and Del Culp and wife Cathy of Ocala, Florida; her dear cousin, Geri Rubel; three loving grandchildren, Courtney, Brielle and Abby; three step grandchildren, Dylan, Brett and Hunter; and recently born on February 13th, a great grandchild, Ayden.
She was also preceded in death by “Grandpa Joe”, John Joseph Santos.
Memorial Services at the Moosic Missionary Alliance Church will be announced at a later date. In a final selfless and thoughtful act, Nora donated her body to science research, with hopes of helping others suffering from illness. Arrangements are under the care of theThomas P.
