Guy Lombardo, Jr., age 40, of Exeter, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Clapps Lombardo. Wed on September 17, 2007, the couple would have been married for 8 years later this year.
Born in Kingston on March 4, 1975 and son of Guy, Sr., of Laflin, and Mary Denise Weitz Lombardo of West Pittston, Guy was educated at Pittston Area High School. He earned his Commercial Driver’s License before working as a truck driver, most recently for Latona Trucking of Pittston. He enjoyed driving trucks, loved his family, and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
He is also survived by his daughters, Lexie Marie Lombardo, at home, Alysia and Elizabeth Lombardo, both of Wilkes Barre; his siblings, Joseph, Vincent of West Pittston and Lisa Lombardo and fiance Glenn Smith, of Pittston; 3 Nieces and 3 nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday at 9:30AM at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 35 William Street in Pittston, to be celebrated by Msgr. John Bendik, Pastor. Private interment, St. Cecelia’s Cemetery, Exeter.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Monday between 9-9:30AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in guy’s name to the donor’s favorite charity.
