Obituaries

Salvatore Miceli, age 81, of Greentown, passed away Friday in the V.N.A. Hospice Inpatient Unit of Geisinger C.M.C., Scranton. He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha L. Britton Miceli.
Son of the late Francesco Miceli and the late Rose Bellina Miceli, Salvatore owned, operated and worked as a photographer for Miceli Studios, Long Island, New York. He was a member of the Hemlock Grove United Methodist Church in Greentown. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he will be dearly missed.
He is also survived by daughters, Regina Felkowski and husband Brian of Clarks Summit and Catherine Miceli of Burlington, New Jersey; a step son, Frank McGarrigle of Mocksville, North Carolina; a step daughter, Deirdre Jablonski and husband Mark of Clearwater, Florida; a sister, Catherine Barbieri of Long Island; two granddaughters, Mia Rose Felkowski and Heather Harding; a great grandson, Brendon Pickard; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday, June 14th, at 2:00PM in the Hemlock Grove United Methodist Church, 491 Roemerville Road, Greentown, to be conducted by Rev. Allison Grove, Pastor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Salvatore’s name to the Hemlock Grove United Methodist Church, Greentown.
