Obituaries

Edward Pasquince, age 82, of West Scranton, passed away Tuesday at Commonwealth Hospice of Regional Hospital in Scranton.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and son of the late John and Margaret Kelleher Pasquince, Edward was a lifelong carpet installer before retiring to Pennsylvania, Remembered as a passionate reader of books, he will be dearly missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by his children, JoAnn Hessmiller of Dunmore, Gina Pasquince of Scranton, Phillip Pasquince of Florida, and Rosemary Downes Pasquince of L.I.; Edward Pasquince, of N.Y.; a niece whom he considered a daughter, Donna Alexander of N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Nancy Maryann Fabrikant, also preceded him in death.
Edward’s selfless act of choosing medcure donation upon his death will benefit a countless amount of people for years to come. Local arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
