Obituaries

Raymond J. Toro, age 72, of Old Forge, died Saturday evening in the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit of Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Alberico Toro. Wed on August 6, 1966, the couple were married for 48 years.
Born in Pittston on March, 19, 1942 and son of the late Joseph and Theresa Canonico Toro, Raymond was a member of Prince of Peace Parish in Old Forge.
He is also survived by his son, Christopher Toro and wife Wendy of Tampa, Florida; four grandchildren, Charissa, Nicholas, Christopher, II, and Mandi; and a great grandson, Soloman, II.
An infant sister and a brother, Paul Toro, also preceded him in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
