Maria DeJesus Ahmad, age 50, of Scranton, died Sunday evening at Regional Hospital of Scranton, after a courageous fight against cancer.
Taken from her relatives and friends too soon, she will be forever missed.
Survived by her beloved mother, Gregoria Reyes, with whom she resideded; she also had three siblings, Jose Manuel Torres, Juana Maria Torres and Santa Colasa Reyes; nieces and nephews; relatives and friends.
Local services and viewing will be private. Interment is scheduled for Monday, February 16th, in Santa Fe Cemetery, San Pedro De Macoris, Domican Republic. Arrangements are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
