Obituaries

Kathleen Nichols, age 50, of Carbondale, passed away Friday at the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit of Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, after a lengthy illness.
Born on August 1, 1964, daughter of the late Salvatore Santacroce and Joan Nelson Santacroce, Kathleen was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Carbondale. She will be forever missed by her loving relatives and friends.
She is survived by her three children, Paige Tiripicchio, and Kenneth and Andrew Nichols; three siblings, Joanne Farley and husband Gregg, Connie Donatone and husband Thomas, and Joseph Santacroce and wife Blanche; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her brother, Frank Santacroce, preceded her in death.
A Memorial Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street in Carbondale, will be celebrated at a date to be announced.
