Michael Bachmann, age 51, of Throop, died Friday in the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit of Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.
Born on January 26, 1963, son of the late John and Patricia Haase Bachmann, Michael attended Denver Automotive and Diesel College in Colorado before working as a mechanic for Litening Auto Care in New Foundland. He will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary Golden Bachmann of Throop; four children, Michael Bachmann of Long Island, Nicole, Christine and Dana Bachmann, all of Throop; and a grandson, Ryan Bachmann.
His sister, Jeanie Fardette, also preceded him in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
