Edward W. Chichilla, age 75, of Old Forge, died Thursday morning, at the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.
He and his wife, the former Helen Shulhan, would have celebrated their 32nd Wedding Anniversary in December.
Born in Old Forge, on January 24, 1929, he was the son of the late William and Sophie Kazeleski Chichilla. He was educated in the Old Forge Schools. He was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Old Forge. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Old Forge Lumber.
He was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and looking for mushrooms.
He is also survived by his daughter, Annette Boyko of Taylor. Two Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a Son, Edward, a brother, Anthony and a infant brother William.
The funeral will be Monday at 8:30AM from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church Vine St., Old Forge by Rev. Joseph M. Brozena, Pastor. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge.
