Hugo Peira, age 74 of Haledon, New Jersey, passed away Monday at Regional Hospital in Scranton. He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene Mercado Pereira; his children, a son, Jean-Pierre Pereira and a daughter, Laurie L. Pereira; siblings, a brother, Nano Pereira, and sisters, Monica Cabello and Norma Moscoso; and three grandchildren.
As per Hugo’s wishes, services are private. Arrangements are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton, PA., 18504.
