Obituaries

Charlotte Tucker, age 89, of the Rocky Glen section of Moosic, died Monday morning under the care of the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit of Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. She was preceded in death on May 30, 1995, by her beloved husband of 46 years, James Russell Tucker.
Born in Chester on August 27, 1924, daughter of the late George and Agnes Hollenback Radle, Charlotte was a devoted member of the Moosic Alliance Community Church. A member of the church’s Ladies’ Society, she was also active in the church’s quilting group, served in the choir and taught Sunday School. An avid gardener who loved flowers, she will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by her children, Bruce Tucker, with whom she resided, James Tucker and wife Susan of Moosic, and Ruth Krawiec and husband David of Dupont; her brother, Carl Radle and wife Marilyn of Pittston; grandchildren, James, Heather, Stacie, Joseph and wife Tonti, Carey and Jason and wife Susi; great grandchildren, Jimmy, Jonathon, Tyler, Jacob and Jarred; and many nieces and nephews.
Sisters, Lillian Kane, Anna Burnside and Dora Frederickson, and brothers, Labon, Jim, Fred, Paul, Irvin and George Radle also preceded her in death.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 10:00AM at the Moosic Alliance Community Church, 608 Rocky Glen Road, to be conducted by Rev. Doug Jensen, Pastor. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday between 5-8:00PM at the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
