Mrs. Angie Tewksbury, age 37, of Nicholson, died Tuesday at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. She is survived by her husband of ten years, Kenneth Tewksbury. Born in Tunkhannock on July 17, 1976, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cook, and the late Anna Mae Bauman Cook, after three years of specialized nursing care and extensive medical attention, Angie passed away peacefully. She was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church. Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints”.
She is also survived by her daughter, Kayla; her siblings, Larry Evans and wife Kitty, Stacy Cook, Clarissa McDonald and husband Bryan, and Terry Evans; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Angie’s name to her church, Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church, Box 3, Brooklyn, Pa., 18813.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 5:00PM in the Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church to be officiated by Minister John Erdos. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 4:30PM until services at the church.
