Obituaries

Julie Calabrese, age 67 of Rochester, New York, and formerly of Old Forge, died Tuesday. Born on September 11, 1946, daughter of Ann M. Aversa Calabrese of Rochester and the late Anthony G. Calabrese, Julie was an avid bowler with the Syracuse Blind Bowlers Assn. and a devoted fan of Syracuse University sports. She will be dearly missed by all of those who loved her.
She is also survived by her loving brother, Guy Calabrese and wife Donna; niece, Nicole Calabrese; nephew, Billy Calabrese; and many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin on Monday at 9:30AM from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street in Old Forge, with a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church at Prince of Peace Parish in Old Forge, to be celebrated by Rev. August Ricciardi, Pastor. Interment will follow at Old Forge Cemetery. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Sunday between 4-7:00PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julie’s name to St. John’s Foundation, 150 Highland Avenue, Rochester, New York, 14620.
