Robert A. Brezinski, age 61, a lifelong resident of Taylor, passed away on Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Anne Meulstee Brezinski. Wed on March 20, 1999, the couple were married for 15 years.
Born on January 18, 1953, son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Tracy Brezinski, Robert graduated from Riverside High School before driving trucks for DOMA for over twenty years. A longtime member of First United Methodist of Taylor, he enjoyed traveling, having visited the entire east coast from Maine to the Florida Keys. An outdoorsman, he was also an avid fisherman. A loving husband, father and brother, he will be forever missed.
He is also survived by three children, Christopher, David and Kelly Brezinski; two brothers, Thomas Brezinski of Taylor and James Brezinski of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; a sister, Judy DiStasi of Old Forge; a granddaughter, Christina Brezinski; and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, William J. “Bubba” Brezinski.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday at noon in the First United Methodist Church of Taylor, 402 South Main Street in Taylor, to be celebrated by Rev. Don Roberts, Pastor. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 11:30AM until services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brezinski Children Memorial, care of Penn Security Bank, 216 South Main Street, Old Forge, 18518.
