Obituaries

Elizabeth (Betty) Krauch, age 94, of Scranton, passed away Sunday morning at Holy Family Residence in Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Chuck) Krauch, on November 14, 1972. Born in Taylor on March 13, 1920, daughter of the late Guy and Ellen Ray Mott, Betty was a graduate of the former Taylor High School. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for Haddon Craftsman of Scranton. Of Roman Catholic faith, she was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Cathedral.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sisters, Mary Firestone, Helen Reilly and Nora Lupton; and brothers, George, Raymond, James and an infant, Charles Mott, also preceded her in death.
A Blessing Service is scheduled for Friday at 10:30AM at Holy Family Residence, 2500 Adams Avenue in Scranton. Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1-4:00PM at Holy Family Residence.
