James Edward McManamey, age 57, a resident of Golden Living Center – Scranton, died Monday afternoon after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey, and son of the late James, Sr., and Kathleen Tumulty McNamaney, James worked as a security guard for ADT Home Security before most recently working as an electrician. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his two sisters, Karen McCrimlisk and husband Robert of Sparta, New Jersey, and Kathleen Jessop and husband Russell of Aiken, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
