Mary Chuck, age 83, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Thursday at Golden Living Center. A well-known local waitress, Mary had worked at the former Castle Restaurant and Best Western No. 5 before serving at Cosgrove’s in Scranton. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by dear friends, Marion Walsh of Scranton, and her daughter, Jean Clark and husband Bob of Spring Brook Twp.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Josephine and Joseph Bucarilli.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday at 9:30AM at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 1510 Penn Avenue in Scranton, to be celebrated by Msgr. William J. Feldcamp, Pastor. Interment will follow at the Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton. Those wishing to attend the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.
