April 28, 1948 - November 4, 2018

Bobby “Stretch” Miles, Sr., age 70, of Scranton, passed away Sunday at home.
Born on April 28, 1948 in Alabama, the son of the late “Cadillac” Sam and Hattie Wyman, Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from May of 1966 to March of 1969. Bob served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War and was also a Purple Heart Award recipient. Prior to retirement he worked as a warehouse foreman for North American Manufacturing in Scranton. Bob was a well-rounded man. He loved old Motown R&B music, loved to fish and was an avid sports fan. He loved watching his Dolphins, Giants, Yankees and Celtics. Bob believed in family first and was a proud protector of his own. He will be dearly missed by family and all that knew him. He is survived by his loving son, Bobby Miles, Jr. of Scranton; sons Jarren of Scranton and Serafin of Dunmore, his former wife, Nancy Miles of Scranton; his siblings, Nancy Marlowe, Mary Wells, twins Ricky and Eulla Wyman, Winda Wyman, Sammy Lee Wyman, Lisa Wyman, Diane Wyman, Joanne Wyman and MC Wyman; eight grandchildren; his first born pride and joy, Tyler Miles, Jaysa Miles-Barnes, Bobby Miles, III, Jackson Miles, DeVante, Serafin, Collin and Wynter and; a great-granddaughter, Nova Sia Miles-Alcantara; and many nieces and nephews.
